The Virtual Gastric Band was pioneered in the UK by clinical hypnotherapist, Sheila Granger
I have been trained in this technique by Sheila. It is a cutting edge weight loss technique – non-surgical and one which harnesses the power of hypnosis to suggest, “you will be satisfied with smaller portions of food.” Embedding into your subconscious the idea, that you stomach is now the size of a golf ball – full after a smaller amount of food and there is no desire to eat more.
The Virtual Gastric Band is like ‘flicking a switch in the brain’. It changes your attitude towards food, life and health. It helps you to regain control over cravings and poor eating habits.
It is NOT A DIET or a hard to maintain eating plan. It is absolutely safe and delivers predictable results that carry ZERO risk. There is no actual surgery involved – only a virtual one, one that is experienced in the safety of a hypnotic trance.
In the recent medical trials conducted in the UK the success rate is at 95%.
Feedback shows increased willpower and no need for the person to deprive themselves of the foods they enjoy. Weight is lost naturally and consistently without dieting. The excess pounds just melting away – much like a candle.
The main difference about the Virtual Gastric Band in comparison to the surgical gastric band is that the virtual version deals with the issues in a person’s mind and their relationship with food. Having a foreign body inside your stomach does and cannot not deal with the psychological and emotional factors.
Clinical Trials – 95% Success Rate
Two separate trials have already been conducted in the UK for Sheila Granger’s Virtual Gastric Band. The first trial saw 24 out of 25 candidates lose an astounding 190lbs in 5 weeks. This result attracted the attention of a General Practitioner in Beverley, East Yorkshire England and subsequently a second trial was conducted with 12 of his patients who had been removed from the gastric surgery program due to financial constraints on the UK’s National Health Services (NHS) list. Again, 9 out of 10 benefited from the program – 95% of the group experienced a positive result.
Since the trials and proven effectiveness of The Virtual Gastric Band, Sheila Granger has made a personal crusade of making the system more and more available to more and more people. She has spent a great deal of time over the last two years talking with medical practitioners, bringing to their attention this safe and viable method of weight loss. Provisional arrangements are now underway for a pilot study to be carried out in the UK, together with the Humberside Obesity, Nutrition, Education and Innovation Centre. The partners of this organization include The University of Hull, Hull and York Medical School and several members of the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, a steering group is being formed to organize clinical trials internationally.
